- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies (like Rotel)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: sliced green onions, chopped cilantro, sour cream, jalapeños
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning, diced tomatoes with green chilies, water, and milk. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Cover and let cook for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with green onions, cilantro, sour cream, or jalapeños if desired.
