Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and lightly flour an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking pan (or line with parchment paper).
2️⃣ Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3️⃣ Add Wet Ingredients
Add the softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat on low speed until just combined, then on medium speed for about 2 minutes until the batter is smooth.
4️⃣ Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
5️⃣ Cool & Serve
