Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk (or unsweetened almond milk for dairy-free)
- ½ cup powdered erythritol (or your preferred sugar substitute)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (optional, for creaminess)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and powdered sweetener.
- Place over medium heat and stir continuously until the sweetener fully dissolves.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Let it cook uncovered, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
- Continue to simmer for about 30–40 minutes, or until the mixture reduces by about half and thickens to a condensed milk consistency.
- Remove from heat and stir in the butter (optional) for extra richness.
- Let it cool completely — it will thicken more as it cools.
- Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.
