- 1 pack crescent roll dough (or puff pastry)
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam (optional)
- 1/2 cup crushed shortbread cookies (or graham crackers)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make cheesecake filling: In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Prepare dough: Roll out crescent dough (or puff pastry) into rectangles. Spread a layer of cheesecake mixture, then add a spoonful of strawberry jam and diced strawberries.
- Roll up each rectangle gently and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with crushed shortbread cookies.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown.
- Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar. Garnish with extra strawberries if desired.
