Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional for extra flavor)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (optional, if you like it sweeter)
  • Optional topping: whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer the bottom of the dish with the strawberry pie filling, spreading it evenly.
  3. Add cream cheese cubes evenly on top of the pie filling. Sprinkle with sugar and a touch of vanilla extract if using.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese and filling—do not mix it in.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix layer. Try to cover as much of the surface as possible.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Cool slightly before serving. Top with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
