This easy dump cake is a delightful dessert that combines the flavors of strawberry cheesecake with the simplicity of a dump cake. It’s perfect for potlucks, gatherings, or a quick treat!
Ingredients:
- 1 (21 ounce) can strawberry pie filling
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened and cut into small cubes
- 1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
- ¾ cup (1 ½ sticks) cold butter, cut into small cubes
- Optional: Graham cracker crumbs or crushed vanilla wafers for topping
Instructions:
- Prepare the Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the Pie Filling: Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Add Cream Cheese: Distribute the softened cream cheese cubes evenly over the strawberry pie filling.
- Sprinkle Cake Mix: Pour the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer, covering the entire surface. Do not mix.
- Add Butter: Distribute the cold butter cubes evenly over the dry cake mix. Try to cover as much of the dry mix as possible.
