Strawberry Cheesecake Banana Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1½ cups cold water
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant cheesecake or vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (or 1 container of whipped topping)
  • 1 box vanilla wafer cookies (such as Nilla Wafers)
  • 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1½ cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Strawberry sauce or jam (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pudding Base:
    • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and cold water until well combined.
    • Add the pudding mix and whisk for about 2 minutes until it thickens slightly.
    • Cover and chill in the fridge for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Whip the Cream Cheese:
    • In a separate large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
    • Gradually add the chilled pudding mixture into the cream cheese and mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in Whipped Cream:
    • In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form (or use prepared whipped topping).
    • Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. Assemble the Layers:
    • In a trifle dish or large serving bowl, start by layering vanilla wafers at the bottom.
    • Add a layer of sliced bananas and strawberries.
    • Spread a layer of the cheesecake pudding mixture over the fruit.
    • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with pudding on top.
  5. Optional Toppings:
    • Garnish the top with more sliced strawberries, crushed vanilla wafers, or a drizzle of strawberry sauce.
  6. Chill and Serve:
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor and texture.
    • Serve cold and enjoy!
