Strawberry Banana Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 (5.1 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 box vanilla wafers (Nilla Wafers)
  • 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced

Optional garnish:

  • Extra whipped topping
  • Crushed vanilla wafers or whole wafers
  • Extra strawberry and banana slices

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until it thickens.
  2. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping until incorporated. Chill the mixture for 10–15 minutes to set.
  4. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, start layering:
    • A layer of vanilla wafers
    • A layer of banana slices
    • A layer of strawberries
    • A layer of pudding mixture
  5. Repeat the layers until the bowl is filled, ending with the pudding mixture on top.
  6. For best flavor, refrigerate at least 4 hours (or overnight) before serving. This allows the wafers to soften and the flavors to meld.
  7. Before serving, garnish with additional whipped topping, crushed wafers, and fresh fruit slices if desired.
