Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of toothpaste (any basic white toothpaste, NOT gel type)
- 1 tablespoon of sugar or powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda (optional but more effective for ants and roaches)
- A few cotton balls or small pieces of cardboard
Instructions
- Make the bait:
In a small bowl, mix the toothpaste, sugar, and baking soda well. The sugar attracts pests, the toothpaste masks the scent, and the baking soda is harmful to them. - Prepare the traps:
Dab small amounts of this mixture onto cotton balls or pieces of cardboard. - Place strategically:
Put these baits in corners, under sinks, near trash cans, behind appliances, or anywhere you’ve seen mice, ants, or roaches. - Check and refresh:
Replace the baits every few days or when they dry out until you see no signs of pests.
✅ Tip:
Keep this away from pets and small children.
This trick works because the pests are drawn to the sugar but the other ingredients disrupt their systems.
