- 2 medium chayotes (peeled and diced)
- 3 cups water
- Juice of 1 lemon (optional)

Instructions
- Rinse the chayotes thoroughly, peel, and dice them into small pieces.
- In a saucepan, bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the diced chayote to the boiling water. Reduce heat and simmer for about 25 minutes, or until the chayote becomes soft.
- Let it cool slightly, then strain the water into a glass jar.
- You can drink the warm or cooled chayote tea daily — 1 cup in the morning and 1 in the evening.
- For extra benefits, stir in lemon juice, ginger, or honey.
