These juicy steak bites are seared to perfection and tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce. Perfect as an appetizer or a main dish, they’re sure to impress your guests!
Ingredients
- 1 pound of sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak:
- Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Sear the Steak:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches).
- Sear for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter:
- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the butter and let it melt.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. If using, add the thyme or rosemary.
- Combine:
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve:
- Serve the steak bites hot, drizzled with the garlic butter sauce and lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over.
Enjoy your flavorful steak bites!
