Steak Bites with Garlic Butter

These juicy steak bites are seared to perfection and tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce. Perfect as an appetizer or a main dish, they’re sure to impress your guests!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak:
  • Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  1. Sear the Steak:
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches).
  • Sear for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  1. Make the Garlic Butter:
  • In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the butter and let it melt.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. If using, add the thyme or rosemary.
  1. Combine:
  • Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  1. Serve:
  • Serve the steak bites hot, drizzled with the garlic butter sauce and lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over.

Enjoy your flavorful steak bites!
