Instructions:

1. Prepare the Steak and Shrimp:

  • In separate bowls, combine the steak and shrimp with the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic powder, and black pepper.

2. Cook the Vegetables:

  • Heat butter or oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the mushrooms, zucchini, and bell peppers and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove vegetables from the pan and set aside.

3. Cook the Steak:

  • Add the marinated steak to the hot skillet and cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness, about 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and slice thinly against the grain.

4. Cook the Shrimp:

  • Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove shrimp from the skillet.

5. Make the Fried Rice:

  • Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the beaten eggs and scramble until cooked through.
  • Add the cooked rice, soy sauce, and green onions to the skillet and stir-fry until heated through and combined.

6. Prepare the Hibachi Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic powder.

7. Assemble and Serve:

  • Divide the fried rice among serving plates.
  • Top with the cooked steak, shrimp, and vegetables.
  • Drizzle generously with the Hibachi sauce.
  • Garnish with additional chopped green onions, if desired.

Tips & Variations:

  • For a smoky flavor, grill the steak and shrimp instead of pan-frying.
  • Add other vegetables to the mix, such as onions, broccoli, or snow peas.
  • Substitute chicken or tofu for the steak.
  • Serve with a side of steamed white rice or noodles.

Enjoy your homemade Hibachi feast!
