Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
- 2 cups fresh spinach (chopped)
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional, depending on the feta)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Sauté spinach in a pan over medium heat until wilted. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute. Let it cool.
- In a bowl, combine spinach, feta, cream cheese, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface. Cut into squares or rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of spinach filling in the center of each piece. Fold over to form a triangle or rectangle. Press edges with a fork to seal.
- Brush with egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
