- ¼ cup ice water
For the Filling:
- 10 ounces fresh spinach, chopped
- 10 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Make the Dough:
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Cut in Butter: Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Stir in the Greek yogurt and ice water until the dough comes together.
- Form Dough Ball: Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead briefly until smooth.
- Rest the Dough: Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the Filling:
- Cook Spinach: Sauté the spinach in a large skillet over medium heat until wilted. Drain any excess liquid.

- Add a sprinkle of sesame seeds or poppy seeds to the tops of the crescents before baking.
