Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked smoked brisket, finely chopped
- 1 cup beer cheese (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough or pretzel dough
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon coarse salt (for sprinkling)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Dough: Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares, about 3×3 inches each.
- Fill: Place about 1 tablespoon of chopped brisket and 1 teaspoon of beer cheese in the center of each dough square.
- Seal: Bring the corners up and pinch the edges to seal tightly, forming a ball.
- Egg Wash: Place the bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each with the beaten egg, then sprinkle with coarse salt and garlic powder if using.
- Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Butter: Remove from the oven and brush immediately with melted butter for extra flavor.
- Serve: Serve warm with extra beer cheese or mustard for dipping.
