Simple Liver Cleanse Recipe

This cleanse aims to support liver and gallbladder function by promoting the release of bile.

Ingredients:

  • Olive Oil: 1/4 cup
  • Fresh Lemon Juice: 1/4 cup
  • Epsom Salts: 4 tablespoons
  • Filtered Water: 8 ounces

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:
    • Day 1:
      • Avoid eating red meat, processed foods, and dairy for 24 hours.
      • Consume plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.  
      • Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
    • Day 2:
      • No eating or drinking after dinner.
  2. Cleanse Procedure:
    • 6:00 PM: Mix 4 tablespoons of Epsom Salts in 8 ounces of warm water. Drink it slowly.
    • 8:00 PM: Mix 1/4 cup olive oil with 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice. Drink this mixture slowly.
    • Lie down on your right side with your knees bent. This position helps encourage bile flow.
    • Remain in this position for at least 20 minutes.
  3. Post-Cleanse:
    • You may experience some mild discomfort or bowel movements. This is normal.
    • Drink plenty of water throughout the following day.
    • Resume your normal diet gradually.
