- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- ¼ cup sugar (optional, depending on sweetness preference)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine condensed milk, heavy cream, and whole milk. Stir well.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a few tablespoons of milk until smooth, then add it to the saucepan.
- Stir continuously until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Pour into serving bowls or a dish and let cool. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
- Serve chilled, topped with fruit, nuts, or a drizzle of caramel.
