Ingredients
- 1 medium-sized potato
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger
- A few drops of lemon juice (optional for added brightening)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional for extra moisture)
Instructions
- Peel and Prepare: Peel the potato and ginger. Grate the potato and ginger into a fine paste using a grater or food processor.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a small bowl, combine the grated potato and ginger. If desired, add a few drops of lemon juice and honey for extra brightening and moisture.
- Apply the Mask: Gently apply the mixture to the dark spots or the entire face, depending on your preference. Make sure the affected areas are well-covered.
- Leave it on: Let the mask sit for about 15-20 minutes. During this time, the potato and ginger will work together to lighten the dark spots and promote a brighter, more even skin tone.
- Rinse Off: After 20 minutes, rinse your face with lukewarm water. Pat your face dry with a soft towel.
- Moisturize: Apply your favorite moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated.
