Ingredients
- 1 medium piece of fresh ginger (about 2 inches), peeled and grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for taste)
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 pinch of turmeric (optional, boosts anti-inflammatory effects)
Instructions
- Bring the 2 cups of water to a gentle boil.
- Add the grated ginger and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and strain the liquid into a mug.
- Stir in the lemon juice, honey, and turmeric (if using).
- Let it cool slightly and sip warm, preferably on an empty stomach in the morning.
Optional Use Tip:
For stronger detox effects, drink daily for 7–10 days and pair with a light, clean diet (less processed foods, more fruits and veggies).
