Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), chopped
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Mix the sugar and eggs in a separate bowl until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract.
