Ingredients
- 1 medium piece of fresh ginger root (about 2–3 inches long)
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the ginger root and slice it into thin pieces.
- Boil 1 cup of water in a small pot.
- Add the sliced ginger to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from heat, strain into a cup.
- Add honey and lemon juice if desired for taste and extra benefits.
- Drink this warm ginger tea once or twice daily to help improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and soothe joint pain.
Tip: You can also apply grated fresh ginger mixed with a little olive oil directly to affected joints for local relief — always do a patch test first to avoid skin irritation.
If you’d like, I can write a short disclaimer too — want that?
