Instructions
- Wash the Tradescantia spathacea leaves thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or residue.
- Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a pot.
- Add the washed leaves (and ginger, if using) to the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- Strain the tea into a cup or jar.
- Sweeten with a small amount of honey if desired.
- Drink 1 cup warm, once or twice daily.
