Ingredients
For Pancakes:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil or melted butter
For Filling:
- 2 medium potatoes (boiled & mashed)
- 250g ground beef or chicken
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- ½ tsp cumin
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil (for frying)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro (chopped)
For Cooking:
- 2 tbsp butter or oil
Instructions
- Prepare Pancake Batter:
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, milk, egg, salt, and oil until smooth.
- Let the batter rest for 10–15 minutes.
- Cook the Filling:
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté onion and garlic until golden.
- Add ground meat and cook until browned.
- Mix in mashed potatoes, spices, salt, and herbs. Stir well and set aside.
- Make Pancakes:
- Heat a non-stick skillet and lightly grease it.
- Pour a small ladle of batter, spread thinly, and cook for 1–2 minutes each side until golden.
- Repeat until all pancakes are done.
- Assemble:
- Place some filling in the center of each pancake.
- Fold or roll them like wraps/rolls.
- Final Touch:
- Heat a little butter in the pan, lightly pan-fry the filled pancakes until crisp on both sides.
- Serve Hot:
- Enjoy with sour cream, yogurt dip, or ketchup.
