Sausage Muffins Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound sausage, browned and crumbled
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda  
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the beaten egg, milk, and vegetable oil.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently stir in the cooked sausage.
  5. Fill muffin tin: Divide the batter evenly among the 12 muffin cups.
  6. Bake: Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool: Let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
