Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Optional: shredded cheddar cheese (for extra cheesiness)
- Optional: chopped green onions or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage with the softened cream cheese. Mix until well blended. (Add shredded cheese if using.)
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage-cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point.
- Arrange the crescents on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- (Optional) Sprinkle with chopped green onions or parsley before serving.
