Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- Optional: 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Add the softened cream cheese to the cooked sausage and stir until well combined and creamy. Add shredded cheddar and seasoning if using.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each crescent starting at the wide end, enclosing the filling.
- Arrange the filled crescents on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
