Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescent

Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • Optional: 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese to the cooked sausage and stir until well combined and creamy. Add shredded cheddar and seasoning if using.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Roll up each crescent starting at the wide end, enclosing the filling.
  7. Arrange the filled crescents on an ungreased baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
