Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (white, brown, or multigrain)
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 2 tbsp butter (softened)
- 2–3 slices of tomato (optional)
- 2–3 slices of cucumber (optional)
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice of cheese on a buttered side, then layer with tomato and cucumber if desired.
- Sprinkle a little salt and pepper for taste.
- Cover with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Heat a pan on medium flame. Place the sandwich and toast until golden brown and cheese melts (2–3 minutes per side).
- Cut diagonally and serve warm with ketchup or your favorite dip.
