Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well and shape into 4-6 patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the beef patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in flour and garlic powder, then gradually pour in the beef broth, stirring to avoid lumps.
  5. Add soy sauce and simmer the gravy until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Return the patties to the skillet, spoon the gravy over them, and simmer for another 10 minutes to cook through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.
