Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls are a twist on the classic sausage ball recipe. The addition of cream cheese makes them extra moist and rich, while the Rotel tomatoes add a hint of spice and tangy flavor. With a crispy, golden-brown exterior and a cheesy, flavorful interior, these sausage balls are perfect for dipping in ranch dressing, marinara, or a spicy aioli
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (16 oz) ground pork sausage (mild, spicy, or breakfast sausage)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (sharp or mild)
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix (or all-purpose biscuit mix)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
Instructions:

- Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, Bisquick mix, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed. (Using your hands works best!)
- Form the Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
- Bake: Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool and Serve: Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
