Ingredients
- 1 box Ritz crackers
- 1 cup thinly sliced deli ham or turkey (or both)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- ½ cup mayonnaise or cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional)
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare spread: In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise (or cream cheese) with Dijon mustard if using.
- Assemble sandwiches: Lay half of the Ritz crackers face down on the prepared baking sheet. Spread a small amount of the mayo mixture on each cracker.
- Add fillings: Top each with a piece of sliced deli meat and a sprinkle of shredded cheese. Place another cracker on top to make a sandwich.
- Brush tops: In another bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder. Brush the tops of the sandwiches with the garlic butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds if desired.
- Bake: Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crackers are slightly golden.
- Serve: Let cool slightly and serve warm at your party!
