Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- A handful of fresh guava leaves (or substitute with bay leaves if unavailable)
- 2 cups water
- Optional: 1 teaspoon honey or a slice of lemon (for taste)
Instructions
- Boil the Water:
In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. - Add the Ingredients:
Once the water is boiling, add the cloves and guava leaves. - Simmer:
Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for 10–15 minutes. This allows the natural oils and compounds to infuse into the tea. - Strain and Serve:
Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup. Add honey or lemon if desired. - Enjoy:
Drink once or twice daily, preferably on an empty stomach in the morning or before bed.
Benefits:
Cloves have powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that may help reduce joint pain. Guava leaves (or bay leaves) support circulation and may assist in joint flexibility and healing.
