Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- 5 fresh bay leaves (or 2 dried bay leaves)
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- 1 slice fresh ginger (optional, for added anti-inflammatory benefits)
Instructions
- Boil Water:
In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. - Add Ingredients:
Add the bay leaves and cloves (and ginger, if using) to the boiling water. - Simmer:
Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for about 10–15 minutes. - Strain:
Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup. - Sweeten (Optional):
Stir in honey if desired. - Serve:
Enjoy warm. Drink 1 cup daily, preferably in the morning.
Notes:
