- 5–7 fresh guava leaves (or bay leaves if unavailable)
- 2 cups water
- 1 small piece of fresh ginger (optional, for extra anti-inflammatory benefits)
- Honey or lemon to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the leaves under running water to remove any dirt or residue.
- In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add cloves, guava leaves, and ginger (if using) to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 10–15 minutes, allowing the nutrients to infuse into the water.
- Strain the tea into a mug using a fine mesh strainer.
- Sweeten with honey or add a splash of lemon if desired.
To Use:
Drink this tea once daily—ideally in the morning or evening. Consistent use over a few weeks may help reduce inflammation and improve joint mobility due to the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of cloves and leaves.
