INGREDENT

  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 5–7 fresh guava leaves (or bay leaves if unavailable)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 small piece of fresh ginger (optional, for extra anti-inflammatory benefits)
  • Honey or lemon to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the leaves under running water to remove any dirt or residue.
  2. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  3. Add cloves, guava leaves, and ginger (if using) to the boiling water.
  4. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 10–15 minutes, allowing the nutrients to infuse into the water.
  5. Strain the tea into a mug using a fine mesh strainer.
  6. Sweeten with honey or add a splash of lemon if desired.
