Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon toothpaste (preferably white, non-gel)
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or white vinegar)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or olive oil
- Warm water (for soaking)
- Pumice stone or foot file
- Clean towel
- Moisturizing foot cream or petroleum jelly
Instructions
- Soak Your Feet:
Fill a basin with warm water. Soak your feet for 10–15 minutes to soften the cracked skin. - Scrub Gently:
After soaking, use a pumice stone or foot file to gently scrub off the dead, cracked skin. Pat your feet dry with a towel. - Make the Paste:
In a small bowl, mix the toothpaste, baking soda, and lemon juice (or vinegar) until you get a smooth paste. - Apply the Remedy:
Apply the paste generously to the cracked heels. Massage it in for 5 minutes, focusing on rough areas. - Let It Sit:
Leave the paste on your heels for about 15–20 minutes. - Rinse Off:
Wash your feet with warm water and dry them thoroughly. - Moisturize:
Massage coconut oil, olive oil, or a good foot cream into your heels. For best results, wear clean cotton socks overnight. - Repeat:
Repeat this process daily for 3 days. You’ll notice smoother, softer, crack-free feet!
Tip:
Stay hydrated and moisturize your feet daily to prevent future cracks.
