Ingredients
- 250g quark (or substitute with Greek yogurt if needed)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 ml milk
- 100g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Butter or oil for frying
- Optional: powdered sugar, fresh fruit, or jam for serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the quark, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the milk and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the quark mixture and stir until you have a smooth batter. If the batter is too thick, add a splash more milk.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
- Pour small portions of batter into the pan and cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, or your favorite jam.
