Protein Balls Recipe

These easy-to-make protein balls are a perfect snack packed with nutrients and energy. Ideal for a post-workout treat or a quick pick-me-up during the day, these protein balls are not only healthy but delicious as well!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Add peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix well until a dough-like consistency forms.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips and shredded coconut, if using.
  4. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
  5. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate the protein balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
