DESCRIPTION
This simple homemade baking soda cream is used as a night treatment to help exfoliate dead skin cells, reduce dullness, and improve the appearance of dark spots and fine lines. When used carefully and in moderation, it may leave the skin feeling smoother and brighter over time.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (soothing base)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or olive oil (moisturizing agent)
- 2–3 drops of lemon juice (optional, for brightening)
- 1–2 teaspoons rose water (to adjust texture)
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a clean bowl, mix baking soda and aloe vera gel until smooth.
- Add coconut oil and mix well to form a creamy paste.
- Add rose water slowly until the texture becomes soft and spreadable.
- (Optional) Add lemon juice and mix lightly.
- Clean your face thoroughly and pat dry.
- Apply a thin layer of the cream on affected areas (wrinkles or spots).
- Leave it overnight.
- Wash your face with lukewarm water in the morning.
TIPS
- Use only 2–3 times per week, not daily.
- Always do a patch test before full application.
- Avoid using on sensitive or broken skin.
- If irritation occurs, wash immediately and discontinue use.
- Always apply moisturizer after rinsing in the morning.
- Use sunscreen during the day for better results.
