Ingredients
- 2 medium cooked beets (peeled and chopped)
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2–3 tablespoons honey (or sugar, to taste)
Instructions
- Bring the milk to a gentle boil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped beets to the boiling milk. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and blend the mixture with a hand blender or in a countertop blender until smooth and creamy.
- Sweeten with honey or sugar to taste. Stir well.
- Pour into mugs or bowls and enjoy warm, or chill and serve cold for a refreshing drink!
