Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk, room temperature

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan or a loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together using an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Start and finish with the flour mixture. Mix just until combined.
