Ingredients
- 2 cans (16 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup mini pepperoni slices (or regular pepperoni cut into small pieces)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
- 1 jar (16 oz) marinara sauce or pizza sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a bundt pan or a deep baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or butter.
- Prepare Biscuit Dough: Cut each biscuit into quarters.
- Season and Toss: In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Add the biscuit dough pieces to the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
- Layer the Ingredients: Begin layering the coated biscuit dough in the greased bundt pan. Alternate with shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese as you layer. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool and Serve: Remove the monkey bread from the oven and allow it to cool for 5–10 minutes in the pan. Carefully invert the bread onto a serving plate.
- Garnish and Dip: Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
