Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for serving)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell peppers (optional)
- Butter or oil (for toasting buns)
Instructions
- Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Mix the beef with pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form into 4 burger patties.
- Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through.
- Add cheese and toppings (pepperoni, olives, bell peppers) to each patty during the last minute of cooking. Cover briefly to melt cheese.
- Toast buns lightly with butter or oil until golden.
- Assemble the burgers: Place patties on buns, add extra pizza sauce if desired, and serve hot!
