INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks (or 100% pineapple juice, unsweetened)
- 1–2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced
- Juice of 1 lemon (or lime)
- 1 tbsp raw honey (optional)
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric or 1/2 inch fresh turmeric root (optional, anti-inflammatory boost)
- A pinch of black pepper (helps activate turmeric)
- 1/2 cup water or coconut water (adjust to desired consistency)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare ingredients:
Peel and slice the ginger (and turmeric, if using fresh). Juice the lemon. - Blend:
Add pineapple chunks, ginger, lemon juice, honey (if using), turmeric, black pepper, and water to a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth. - Strain (optional):
For a smoother shot, pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a jar. - Serve:
Pour into small shot glasses. Take 1–2 oz as a daily morning boost. - Storage:
Store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Shake well before each use.
