Pineapple Fluff Dessert Recipe

A light, creamy, and refreshing dessert perfect for potlucks, picnics, or a simple sweet treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (10 ounce) package miniature marshmallows (or 1 cup)

Instructions:

  1. Combine Pineapple and Pudding: In a large bowl, combine the undrained crushed pineapple and the instant vanilla pudding mix. Stir well until the pudding mix is dissolved.
  2. Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until everything is evenly combined.
  3. Add Marshmallows: Fold in the miniature marshmallows.
  4. Chill: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours, or until chilled and set.
  5. Serve: Serve chilled and enjoy!

Variations:

  • Coconut Fluff: Add 1/2 to 1 cup of shredded coconut for a tropical twist.
  • Pistachio Fluff: Use pistachio instant pudding mix instead of vanilla. You can also add chopped pistachios for garnish.
  • Cherry Fluff: Add a jar of maraschino cherries (drained and halved) for a festive look and flavor.
  • Pecan Fluff: Add 1/2 to 1 cup of chopped pecans for a nutty crunch.
  • Mandarin Orange Fluff: Add a can of drained mandarin oranges.
  • Lime Fluff: use lime instant pudding mix.
  • Graham Cracker Crust: press a graham cracker crust into the bottom of a pan, and then pour the fluff on top of it.

Tips:

  • For a thicker consistency, refrigerate for a longer period of time.
  • Ensure the whipped topping is fully thawed before folding it into the mixture.
  • When folding the ingredients, be gentle so you don’t deflate the whipped topping.
  • You can use different flavors of instant pudding to change the flavor profile.
