Ingredients
- 1 can Pillsbury refrigerated biscuit dough (like flaky biscuits)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite cheese blend)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Marinara sauce or ranch for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
- Open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits.
- Flatten each biscuit gently with your hands or a rolling pin into a round disc, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Add cheese: Place about 1 tablespoon of shredded cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Seal the cheese inside: Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit up and pinch them together tightly to seal the cheese inside, forming a ball.
- Dip each ball into the garlic butter mixture, coating evenly. Place the balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Brush once more with remaining garlic butter right after baking for extra flavor.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
