Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook for 5–6 minutes until softened.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in beef broth and the cornstarch slurry. Simmer until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Place provolone slices over the beef mixture, cover the skillet, and let cheese melt.
- Spoon the cheesy beef mixture onto toasted hamburger buns.
