Ingredients
- 6 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a large oven-safe pan.
- Layer the sliced potatoes evenly in the dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, onion soup mix, and chicken broth (or water).
- Pour the mixture evenly over the potatoes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle with cheese (if using), and bake uncovered for another 15–20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy this cozy, no-fuss dish!
