Ingredients:

  • For the Filling:
    • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg  
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • For the Topping:
    • 1 (10.5 ounce) can refrigerated flaky biscuits, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
    • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Make the Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. Fold in chopped pecans.
  3. Assemble: Pour the pecan filling into the prepared baking dish. Top evenly with the biscuit pieces. Drizzle with melted butter.
  4. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is set.
