Pecan Pie Brownies Recipe

These decadent brownies combine the fudgy richness of classic brownies with the sweet and nutty flavors of pecan pie.

Ingredients:

  • For the Brownies:
    • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
    • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 4 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the Pecan Pie Filling:
    • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
    • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions:

  1. Make the Brownies:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined.
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
    • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  2. Make the Pecan Pie Filling:
    • In a medium bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour, and salt.
    • Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
    • Fold in the chopped pecans.
  3. Assemble and Bake:
    • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
    • Spoon the pecan pie filling evenly over the brownie batter.
    • Gently swirl the filling with a knife to create a marbled effect.
    • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (it may have a few moist crumbs attached).
  4. Cool and Serve:
    • Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting and serving.
    • Enjoy!
