Ingredients:
- For the Brownies:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar

- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Make the Brownies:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Make the Pecan Pie Filling:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour, and salt.
- Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
