INGREDENT
- 4 medium potatoes, halved lengthwise
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare Baking Dish – Pour melted butter evenly over the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly on top of the butter.
- Season Potatoes – In a bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the cut sides of the potatoes with this seasoning.
- Arrange & Bake – Place potatoes cut side down into the butter-Parmesan layer. Press down gently so they coat well.
- Bake – Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the Parmesan crust is golden.
- Serve – Let them cool for 2–3 minutes, then use a spatula to lift each potato. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
If you’d like, I can also give you a crispy version where the Parmesan forms a full golden crust. That one’s extra addictive.
