Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, halved lengthwise
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven – Set to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare Baking Dish – Pour the melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish and sprinkle the Parmesan evenly over the butter. Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper on top.
- Arrange Potatoes – Place potato halves cut-side down onto the Parmesan mixture, pressing lightly so the cheese sticks.
- Bake – Place in the oven and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the cheese crust is golden brown.
- Serve – Let them cool for 5 minutes, loosen with a spatula, and serve warm. Garnish with fresh parsley.
If you’d like, I can also make a crispy golden crust variation where the Parmesan forms a thicker layer at the bottom. That’s the one that’s extra addictive.
